'I Keep Becoming Me, Over and Over Again' is an ongoing body of work produced in a diaristic manner that sees Hearns investigate themes of identity, sexuality and interpersonal & romantic relationships.
Suggestive depictions of skin, a once-lover's occiput, a Portuguese river at dusk, the blue-haze of a dusty dance floor and a used-tissue adorning a branch in a Berlin park act as indicators toward a range of transformative experiences for Hearns during this period of production. Heavily influenced by a yearning for safety and security, these works speak to Hearns' penchant for ambient and highly emotive imagery.
Including early works produced between 2022 - present. The project is currently ongoing.
